I am posting an article I wrote some time ago as it seems timely once again to publish it. For those who may have not seen or read it back when I was writing under Peppermintsplace blog. It is one of the articles I wrote for the Average Man in the Street Series.

Interviewee Hillary Clinton

Joe:  It was quite pleasant of you Mrs. Clinton, to suggest we sit and chat with you.
I’m looking forward to our discussion.

Hillary: Oh, my pleasure Joe. I have been looking forward to talking to the
average citizen. I don’t often get this wonderful opportunity, that’s why I
presented my campaign opening by suggesting we chat and have discussions.
There are so many issues on people’s minds today and with all the bi-partisan
squabbling I’m sure the American average Joe, like you must be so
frustrated. We’ve become such a divided nation since Bush took over from my
husband. The country has become the most polarized nation on earth,
unlike the times when my husband was in office and so loved…..

Joe:  Excuse me Mrs. Clinton, but I was hoping we could have a real
discussion about real issues.

Hillary:  Oh, oh, of course, Joe. Just what would you like to discuss?
I have many programs on the table that I would love to tell you about…

Joe:  Excuse me again, Mrs.Clinton, but I would like to ask you some
questions first if you don’t mind. I’d like to stay and talk with you for a long
time, but I do have a job to go to since I am an average citizen.

Hillary:  Oh, of course, Joe, one forgets these kinds of things. Of course
you have a job, but you know most Americans don’t have jobs to go
to and if they do, they are being paid far too little. That’s why I will enact
the fair worker doctrine, where all workers, average ones that is,
will be paid the same amount of wages irregardless of merit…

Joe:  Excuse me again, Mrs. Clinton, but I was sincerely hoping to ask
you some questions on the biggest issues facing our country right now.

 
Hillary:  Yes, yes, I understand, Joe. We have already raised the minimum
wage and I will be working on a health care program that will cover all….

Joe:  Mrs. Clinton, I would really like to turn the subject to something of a
different nature, such as the axis of evil.

 
Hillary:  Oh, my God, Joe. I can’t believe you would bring up such a
personal issue; I really can’t go into that….....

Joe:  Mrs. Clinton, I want to know how you view the axis of evil and
what your plans are…....

Hillary:  Really Joe!! I have no intention of speaking to you about Monica,
Bill, and myself. That issue was resolved a long time ago. I can’t believe
you would even mention it. And, for your information, that dress, the one
with the “stain” was actually mine. I had leant that dress to Monica
without having it dry cleaned. That’s one thing I can’t forgive myself for
because the right wing press and their right wing groups had to make
a big thing out of it. Like Bill would do anything to harm his image and
our marriage. I’ll never forgive that Dobson character, who
ever he is and that Hannity, or is it Colmes, trying to take my husband
down when all he tried to do is the best for this country.
We love our country and Bill and I….....

Joe:  No, Mrs. Clinton, I wasn’t asking about that axis of evil,
I was speaking about…...

Hillary:  I really don’t want to go into Falwell, Dobson, and that other
Christian whatshisname. I think we all have had enough of that kind
of division in this country. With out these Christian right wing nu…,
I mean right wing voters we would have no problems in this country.
Now, they even try to make things up about Islam and it being a right
wing religion. You would think they would be happy to have another
right wing religions group to hang out with. You just can’t make people
happy especially when it revolves around religion. I just don’t under
stand why people get themselves upset over Islam. We need more
diversity in this country…....

Joe:  Mrs. Clinton, I believe you have misunderstood…...

Hillary:  I understand completely Joe. You were just trying to trip me
up with that axis of evil shi…, uh, thing. I get it. I’m not your average
citiz….I mean I wasn’t born yesterday. I know just what you
were up to. You want to bring up the past…..Wait, a minute Joe,
I just need to regain my composure.

Joe:  Mrs. Clinton, when I referred to the axis of evil I meant…...

Hillary:  Darn it, Joe. Is it your notion of a chat to drive me up the wall
with this? I already told you it’s a thing of the past. Bill and I even went
to marriage counseling and Bill learned a lot about being a husband,
and I learned a lot about being a wife. Poor man. His appetites
are so profound. He couldn’t help himself. You know what it’s like
to be the most important person in the world and have women falling all
over you?  Oh, I’m sorry Joe; of course you wouldn’t know that. You’re
just an average slo…., I mean you haven’t had to carry the burden of
being in political office, being president, and having to resist all kinds
of temptation, from fornication to selling classified documents.
Not that anyone did anything of the sort.
I mean, it’s just so difficult on all the family members in the White
House. Everyday another right wing press agent out to get us, to
take my husband down, the pressure, the indignation of it all…...

Joe:  Mrs. Clinton, I have to be back to work in ten minutes so I
haven’t got too much time…..

Hillary:  That’s another thing I’ll take care of for you Joe. When I’m
president I will enact A “fair work place doctrine” that will allow
you to have as much time off work as possible for other reasons as
sick children. But, you know I love the children so much. We can’t do
enough for our children. Every day I see children in need. Just the other
day I saw a very small baby in a dumpster. Can you believe it?
A dumpster of all places!  Joe. The average citizen can’t be throwing small
babies in dumpsters simply because they have not the time
off work to feed them. I’ve never seen anything like it. I really didn’t know
how bad things had gotten in this great country of ours since Bush
took office. I mean I knew we were being pulled apart like hyenas
grabbing a ham sandwich, but to see a small baby, and I mean
it was so small. To think that parents don’t have enough to feed such
small children in this country shows me how far down Bush has brought
us down to their knees, people suffering terribly….....

Joe:  Mrs. Clinton, were you visiting an abortion clinic lately?

Hillary:  Joe, what kind of person are you?  You say you wanted to chat.
But all you have done is throw ugly things in my face. I don’t visit abortion
clinics, Joe. I don’t plan on having any more children. For God’s sake,
having Chelsea was plenty and making those dumb Christmas ornaments
and cookies to be sent of to that private school just to make an impression
…, I mean to help out those less fortunate than ourselves. You see we
always made nice little things to be given to the poor around Christmas
even though I personally don’t believe in such things. Those kinds
of things should come from the government….

Joe: EXCUSE ME, Mrs. Clinton; I was trying to ask you about North Korea,
Iran, Syria, those countries that are presenting a grave threat…

Hillary:  Oh, that kind of evil. Why didn’t you say so to begin with Joe? 
Now, actually, Joe, I have to leave. It’s a busy schedule when running
for president and I have another chat lined up.  Thanks so much for your
time. I’m so glad we had this wonderful chat.

In this article I plan to talk about and show you what kinds of amenities are available while you are at the Redneck Terrorist Training Camp, or as we have come to call it RTTC.

First our flight amenities. You can travel the Redneck Airlines bringing your mobile home with you. That way you have all the comfort of home right with you. We have plenty of space to place a number of these homes on the camp property for you ultimate enjoyment away from home.

If you don’t like flying the Redneck Airlines, you might find the Purplegimp Travel Airlines, as show here, much more to your liking. As you can see in the picture. Purplegimp is coming to give special instructions she has learned fighting the hizzbullies.

As I inferred to Mash, we have brought in a new, well, not new, but housing
facility that I think will be quite comfortable for her.  And she won’t have to rent a car while here at the camp.  She can drive this thing all over town to sight see if she wishes on her days off from camp. And no scary heights for her to climb.

Fine dining is available in the nearby town. As you can see unusual dishes are available.
I hear this is a favorite of Goshawk, Crawfish, and Gray Ghost. They’ve been sighted eating with the best of Rednecks the town has to offer.

We have the latest in high tech as seen here with the Redneck Palm Pilot.
Sgt. Relic will be handling this technical aspect of the training camp.

After a hard day’s work at the camp, massages are available by the best in the business. The kitties wanted to do more than just be suicidal bombers. They wanted to contribute to the comfort of the trainees.  So, here is dogged’s cats who have applied along with dogged to train in our camp. Are they not just the cutest massage artists?

Good shower facilities as you can see if you can get Harvey Harold Redneck out.
But, he works very hard and loves the feel of that cool water. It tends to cool down his trigger finger also. In other words, he is somewhat of a hothead.

For your sleeping enjoyment or just plain peace of mind at those times of rest we have the best in Redneck Wind Chimes to soothe jittery nerves after a workout in camp.

Of course, for your ultimate comfort, we have the local weather forecast available at all times. 

We wouldn’t want to leave out the comfort of your favorite pets in case you bring them along to train beside you. Nothing but the finest in the latest of Redneck Pet Carriers.

Laundry facilities are the usual Redneck clothes line. Whether you need to dry out your pet or your under things, we have plenty of line strung and ready, clothes pins, no extra charge either.

For safety we have the Redneck Fire Exit signs inside the building.

And, as you can see we have our crack Redneck firemen on hand for dire emergencies.

Oh, just a reminder to stay out of the peanut butter jar. My corgi, Dakota has a special liking for it.

Unfortunately, the above picture depicts what is NOT allowed during training. Anyone caught in this position will be immediately expelled from the camp. Save that kind of stuff for Jam Apple’s Bar and Grill.

In the next article, I will be showing you some of the newest of our trainees and some of our rejects. Yes, I said all Rednecks are welcome, but it seems that some infiltrators have been trying to fool us. Never fear though, they are immediately kicked out and sent packing.

OK. I’m getting really steamed with this guy.

First, according to his wife, Michelle we’re mean. Now, we’re bitter, those of us who live in little towns in the Midwest are bitter.

We “cling” to our guns. Darn right we cling to our guns. I guess Obama doesn’t realize there is a thing called the Second Amendment. Oh, I forgot, he wants to take our guns away. Yeah, that’s right. He apparently hasn’t read the 2^nd Amendment or doesn’t believe in it.

We “cling” to our religion. I thought we were free to practice our religion without persecution in this country. Is that not in the Constitution also? 

I suppose he didn’t “cling” to Mr. Wright for twenty years in his church of choice. I wonder why he was there?

We have antipathy to people who aren’t like us. I would say that he sounds like he’s projecting his own thoughts onto us hicks. 

And yeah, a lot of us Americans are against “ILLEGAL” immigration. How many times must this be told to these politicians who want to turn it into against “immigration” that is LEGAL?

Obama you really stepped into it this time. Keep it up. Those of us who don’t want you as POTUS are loving it. 

Say what you really feel why don’t you and completely ruin your chances of being the next President of the US.  We really don't need you anyway.  We hicks want something better than you and your elitist, arrogant remarks about middle America.

I received an email from one of my readers who requested that I post his personal feelings about the issue of race in America today. The poster goes by the screen name of BigPapa. He is one who is from the generation of post civil rights and his essay takes a look at the recent debate over race in this era of political maneuvering.

What is it about this race issue for Obama and Clinton? Why are Democrats so beholden to it and why is it so prevalent 40+ years after civil rights? Why are we letting new generations take hold of racism?

I’m what you call Average American Joe. I’m a 38 year old white, Christian Conservative and a gun owner.   When I was a child I grew up in a household where the N word was not used nor was racism tolerated. For all the flaws of my parents may have had, like any other parents, one was not racism. Do I have prejudices? Yes I do and anyone who says they don’t is a damn liar. Recognizing those prejudices and working through them is what makes us better.

My Mom and Dad never uttered the N word.   As a young child I came home and asked them one day what that meant having heard it in school. They taught me it was a bad thing just as any other insult is. They also made sure I knew the history surrounding this word and why it was especially bad.

In my elementary school we had one or two black children form 1^st through 6th grade. You could say I grew up in a lily white area since it was rural at the time. When I entered junior high in the 7^th grade it combined two elementary schools and the other one had a lot of black kids.   Some of the white kids showed their true colors and some of these black kids showed their true colors too. This was confusing to me and it troubled me having a sense of always wanting to do the right thing and apply the golden rule. For the first time in my life I experienced reverse racism.(I didn’t know it at the time) I didn’t understand why these black kids treated me like they did. Not all of them, but many exhibited the same behavior as some as my white peers.

Somehow I soldiered through either using my own logic or knowledge gained from my parents. I knew people that were racists and I just ignored their ignorance and stupidity. The way I looked at is there were stupid hateful people of all colors around the world. As a child and even now I was a history buff and I think my statement above can be proven by history.

As I entered the workforce I experienced this reverse racism again and again. I have always been one to make friends with anyone of any race or creed. When Michelle Obama talks about this mean country I think where the hell has she been? I wasn’t Ivy League educated; I don’t make nearly a million dollars a year as she has in this mean country.  What does that make her?

As I got near my 30’s I started working at a politically correct company which is kind of a pain in the rear, but at the same time I have met and worked with wonderful professional people of all races , all backgrounds, and from all over the world. Once I became the supervisor of my department the first time I hired anyone it was a black man from Haiti who was a US citizen and his wife is a woman from Botswana who already worked here in another department. They are two of the nicest people I have ever met. He can tell you some stuff about how he perceives American blacks, but those would be his words. This is a guy who spoke no English when he arrived here in 1994 but he learned how. He went back to school to get a different degree than the one he got in Haiti.   He didn’t let the mean evil United States keep him down. 

All these years being Average white man I’ve tried to do the right thing by judging people by their personality and talent and not their color.  But, I know now that race is still a big issue. Most people I work with don’t worry about this stuff. We treat everyone as individuals. In the nine years at my present place of employment, I have never heard anyone white utter anything racist. On the other hand I knew of two black women (who no longer work here) that were probably the most racist blacks I have personally met.  Both were urban activists and locked into the notion that racism is and always will be a battle. Yes, it very well may be a battle but at what cost?

I cannot imagine my pastor speaking in the manner of Wright in any way shape or form. The two pastors at my church are not peace pushers, but they are not racial bigots like Wright.   My church alone does community service for all races all over other parts of the world like Africa, South America, and contributed to the people of New Orleans. I have helped deliver groceries that our church collected to people of other races. Where is the mean spirit?

Don’t push your racism onto me and the American public Reverend Wright, or Michelle and B. Hussein Obama. You sat in that church for 20 year making fat money listening to crazy old uncle Jeremiah hate everyone including the very America that gave him the right to speak like a filthy old sailor.

In this day and age, Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan have no place just as David Duke or Neo Nazi skin heads have no place.

I’ll go back to what I said above as my ending statement on race baiters of all kinds. Wright and Farrakhan, KKK, Skin Heads, YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME.

Goshawk's Random Rants

This following article is from me, Goshawk, edited however by Pepp, due to language restrictions, grammatical problems, malapropisms, and other such difficulties. I felt full disclosure was necessary. I will have on occasion some questions or thoughts which we have decided to call Goshawk’s Random Rants for those of you who have been requesting to hear from me.

1. Why are there so many stupid people in this country?  Why are people so willing to accept socialism from the dems?  Or do they even know what socialism is?
   

2. Why do these presidential campaigns have to go on for two damn years? Next, we’ll have campaigns lasting for four years. As soon as the candidate is elected, what will we have, a campaign for the next election starting immediately?

3. Why can’t we do without campaign fund raising? Can’t PBS or CSPAN have all the debates, get to meet the candidates, and do without all the money being given by special interest groups?

4. Why do I always have things to fix and why am I cooking dinner all the time lately?

5. When Pepp talks, it’s called a conversation, but when I talk it’s called running off at the mouth. I wonder why?

6. Why when I let my shepherds out of their doghouse do they run right past me and bang on the door or try to go through the window to see Pepp?

HAVE I LOST CONTROL?

Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright, is not preaching a new concept. The concept is the black liberation theology founded by a man named James Cone.  In Cone’s book, “Black Theology and Black Power, he states:

“A moral or theological appeal based on a white definition of morality or theology will serve as a detriment to our attainment of black freedom. The only option we blacks have is to fight in every way possible, so that we can create a definition of freedom based on our own history and culture. We must not expect white people to give us freedom. Freedom is not a gift, but a responsibility, and thus must be taken against the will of those who hold us in bondage.”

The idea of a black liberation theology is very well connected with the ideas and doctrines of the Black Power movement from the 1960’s.

The idea that Jesus is black and the Gospels are understood through a Marxist prism grew out of the writings of this man Cone. He also stated that the white church in America is the Antichrist.

The leftist United Church of Christ made Dr. Cone a professor at the Union Theological Seminary. They literally have put this race baiter on a pedestal and are in collusion with the teachings of the Black Liberation Theology.

Between the leftist churches’ endorsement of Dr. Cone there is much to be said about the left’s ability to continue this “victimization” theory of the blacks in today’s world.

If some blacks take the Black Liberation Theology to heart and into their souls while sitting in their pews on Sundays, they are led to believe they cannot make it on their own. But, instead, they must adhere to a separatist and rage filled ideology.

Anti-Semitism is also a foundation upon which this theology thrives. What does that say for Obama’s support for Israel, our best ally in the ME? Will Obama support Israel or turn to the teachings of his pastor?

According to more writings of Dr. Cone:

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him." 

 "All white men are responsible for white oppression." 

 "While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism."

 "Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man "the devil.""

"The black theologian must reject any conception of God which stifles black self-determination by picturing God as a God of all peoples."

 "We have had too much of white love, the love that tells blacks to turn the other cheek and go the second mile. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power, which is the power of blacks to destroy their oppressors, here and now, by any means at their disposal."

Barack Obama sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for twenty years. He claims he had no idea what was being preached in this church. Can anyone believe this?   Wright was preaching the teachings of this man Dr. Cone.

The bigger question is “just who is Barack Obama and what does he really believe?” 

The Truth About Saddam and Terrorism

Saddam Hussein’s Iraq had extensive ties to terrorist organizations, including Al Qaeda, according to an official report published by the Pentagon’s Institute for Defense Analyses and released through the Joint Forces Command.

That report, Saddam and Terrorism: Emerging Insights from Captured Iraqi Documents, came up with some startling revelations in its 59 pages:

  Saddam’s Iraq trained terrorists for use inside and outside Iraq and in 1999 sent 10 terrorist-training graduates to London to carry out attacks throughout Europe. (Page 1)

Saddam’s Iraq stockpiled munitions (including explosives, missile launchers and silencer-equipped small arms) at its embassies in the Middle East, Asia and parts of Europe. (Pages 3-4)

  In September of 2001, Saddam’s Iraq sought out and compiled a list of 43 suicide-bomb volunteers in a “Martyrdom Project.” (Pages 7-8)

  The report contains language from a captured Iraqi document which references an attempted assassination of Danielle Mitterand, wife of French President Francois Mitterand, by car bomb. (Page 11)

  The report’s authors describe Saddam’s Iraq as a “long-standing supporter of international terrorism” including several organizations designated as international terrorist organizations by the US State Department. (Page 13)

  Among the organizations that captured Iraqi documents indicate were supported by Saddam’s Iraq were: (Pages 13-15).

  Fatah-Revolutionary Council (Abu Nidal Organization). (Author’s note: Abu Nidal was generally considered the world’s most dangerous terrorist in the late 1980s.)

  Palestine Liberation Front (led by Abu al-Abbas). (Author’s note: Abbas was the mastermind of the Achille Lauro hijacking and the murderer of American Leon Klinghoffer.)

  Renewal and Jihad Organization, which the Iraqi documents describe as a “Secret Islamic Palestinian Organization” that “believes in armed jihad against the Americans and Western interests.”

  Islamic Ulama Group, a radical Islamist group in northern Pakistan.

  The Afghani Islamic Party, led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. (Author’s note: Hekmatyar is an Afghan mujahideen warlord who is worked with Osama Bin Laden during the 1990s. US intelligence agencies have lost track of Hekmatyar, but believe that he was trying to join Al Qaeda in 2002 when he released a video message calling for armed jihad against the United States. Reports from BBC-TV and CNN claim that Hekmatyar helped Osama Bin Laden escape from Tora Bora in 2002.

  Islamic Jihad Organization (Egyptian Islamic Jihad). This is perhaps the most startling revelation in the report. Egyptian Islamic Jihad was founded and led by Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, now Al Qaeda’s co-leader. The group is most infamous for the assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. Zawahiri is known to have worked in the Al Qaeda organization since its inception, while he was still leader of Egyptian Islamic Jihad in fact. Al Qaeda was started around 1989 and Zawahiri is said to have been a senior member from its earliest days. He was present in Afghanistan with Bin Laden at the time and later he was in Sudan with Bin Laden until being expelled in 1996 and eventually returning to Afghanistan. In 1998, Zawahiri formally merged Egyptian Islamic Jihad with Al Qaeda and has served as co-leader of Al Qaeda ever since. Iraq’s relationship with Egyptian Islamic Jihad was so close that captured documents indicate that Iraq was able to request that the group hold off on operations against the regime in Egypt in 1993.

In other words, Saddam’s Iraq had a longstanding relationship with the co-leader of Al Qaeda.

 Captured documents show that Saddam’s Iraq was training non-Iraqis in Iraqi training camps a decade before Operation Desert Storm, including fighters from the following nations: Palestinian territories, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Syria, Eritrea, and Morroco. (Pages 15-16)

  A captured memorandum shows that Saddam’s Iraq had an agreement with an Islamist terrorist group to conduct operations against Egypt during the first Gulf War. (Page 16)

  A detailed, captured document from 1993 “illuminated how the outwardly secular Saddam regime found common cause with terrorist groups who drew their inspiration from radical Islam.” (Page 17)

  In January 1993, as the American military’s humanitarian mission was begun in Somalia, Saddam directed that Iraq “form a group to start hunting Americans present on Arab soil, especially Somalia.” (Page 18) Interestingly, Osama Bin Laden was setting up identical operations at the same time.

  Saddam’s secret intelligence service (IIS) hosted 13 conferences in 2002 for various terrorist groups. (Page 19)

  Captured Iraqi documents say that the IIS issued passports to known members of terrorist groups. (Page 19)

  Saddam’s Iraq had close ties and provided funding to Hamas, the Palestinian jihadist organization. Captured documents indicate that Hamas offered to carry out attacks for Saddam’s Iraq in return for his support. In fact, Hamas representatives informed the Iraqis that the organization had 35 armed cells around the world hidden among refugees, including in France, Sweden and Denmark. (Pages 24-25).

  Saddam’s IIS manufactured bombs in the early 1990s for terrorist Abu Abbas to conduct attacks against American and other interests. Three instances of these bombs failing are evidently the only thing that prevented terrorist attacks against these interests: (Page 30)

“A bomb intended to destroy the American ambassador’s residence in Jakarta, Indonesia failed.”

“Bombs designed to destroy the American Airlines office and Japanese embassy in the Philippines exploded prematurely and damaged only the front of the office, while killing one and wounding another of the terrorists transporting the explosives.”

 Saddam’s Iraq carried out terrorist attacks on members of humanitarian organizations operating in the Kurdish areas of Northern Iraq, including Doctors Without Borders, Handicap International and UN-affiliated organizations. (Pages 31-33)

  The IIS was willing to reach out to jihadist terrorist groups, including those known to be affiliated with Al Qaeda. This includes the “Army of Muhammad” in Bahrain, which had threatened Kuwaiti authorities and had plans to attack American and Western interests. (Pages 35-36)

 The report concludes with the following question: “Is there anything in the captured archives to indicate that Saddam had the will to use his terrorist capabilities directly against the United States?” The Institute for Defense Analyses then provides the answer:

Yes.

Conclusion
Those who claim that Saddam had no “direct, operational ties” to Al Qaeda are attempting to narrow the definition of “terrorist-sponsoring nation” to an impossible scope. By this definition, a nation, like Saddam’s Iraq, can provide money, arms, safe haven and cooperation to jihadist terrorist groups and not have “direct, operational ties” to terrorists.

This was never the standard by which a nation found itself on the US State Department’s list of terrorist-sponsoring nations and implies that, unless a dictator is found directly ordering a terrorist attack, that dictator cannot be considered as linked to a terrorist group.

The “direct, operational ties” standard was invented after the overthrow of Saddam and is a ridiculous standard that can never be met.

Five years after United States forces overthrew Saddam Hussein, the Pentagon has produced a blockbuster report that has been both misrepresented and ignored. That report shows that Saddam’s Iraq had extensive ties to international terrorist groups, both Islamist and secular, including organizations that were part of Al Qaeda. No ginned up definition invented for domestic political consumption can change the truth.

Therefore after reading this report, a Hillary or Obama presidency will surely spell defeat and give AQ a huge victory in the war on terror.

Goshawk needs help. No, before you make the joke, I’ll do it for you. Yes, he married me.  Now, you can spend all your time and jokes helping Goshawk. Besides that I know no one can possibly imagine Goshawk having any trouble with me as his wife. LOL!

I have been warned about putting this article on our blog, so if you don’t hear from me for awhile, just know that Goshawk has me locked up in either the dog house or the shed.  At least you can know that if I'm locked up with Foxy and Shadow I'll be safe, smelly, but safe.

Since we’ve been together for nearly six months now, I hardly spend any time in the kitchen cooking. Now I do spend a lot of time cleaning up after the self made experimenter.  When Goshawk is in one of his mad scientific modes I call him Igor.

His favorite foods are bread, candy, fudge, cookies, pies, ice cream, cakes and any other sweet things, like me of course. He is not too hot on veggies, which I try to shove down his throat. Since that activity proved to be impossible, ( you don’t shove anything down Igor’s throat,) I just bought him a huge bottle of vitamins instead, Senior Centrum.

Here you see Goshawk stirring the pot after he has cooked his fudge. He’s a big fudge maker, but every time he makes it, the consistency is different. Some of the fudge turns out like sugar, others are like little rocks that you just break off or chop with a knife to eat. Others taste like icing that came out of a can. Some of the fudge has a grainy  texture to it. None of it holds together well except for the rock kind. Does anyone have a fool proof, Igor fudge recipe?

Now he also loves to cook omelets. He has one favorite he likes to make which he calls a Mexican pizza. The ingredients are the usual ones, like potatoes, onions, eggs, but he throws in salsa and some cheese. Quite good really, but he has so much trouble getting things out of pans. Please is there someone who can give Goshawk hints on how to get an omelet out of a pan?

He wants to get his HUGE iron skillet out but he can’t find it in his shed where he stored all of his things when he arrived here from Californication. Somehow that HUGE skillet is buried within boxes of books, tapes, artist paints and canvas, electronic equipment, and various other miscellaneous items that no one could ever imagine being in one's house. Now I realize this is a difficult one so I don't expect anyone to be able to answer this one.

Next, we have Goshawk, the bread maker. Actually what you see in the picture is a potter. That’s how Goshawk started out kneading bread. With the punching, beating, pushing, squashing, and pulling he did while “kneading” he was actually pushing out all the air. Subsequently, the bread turned out like pretzels. But, he has been getting much better at kneading having gotten advice from an expert. His bread now comes out quite nicely and doesn't look like puppy pretzels, nice, thick, and chewy. Even the dogs didn't like it. He still has some trouble with the bread rising properly so if anyone has any hints, ideas, please help. Also, for Lucy, Goshawk wants your olive and onion bread recipe.

Now, just so I don't get myself into too much trouble here are two pictures depicting Goshawk's other skills which he does quite well.                                                                            

In the above picture what you see is a blank paneled wall in our kitchen. You can also slightly see the TV remote sitting on the kitchen table which is where Goshawk usually sits drinking his coffee and thinking and dreaming up his next project. But, that remote is never out of his reach.

Crowds throng and applaud Obama blowing his nose. This man, the Messiah, as I have referenced him before, is one of the most dangerous men to have come upon the American scene in some years.

Obama speaks as one with a forked tongue. His speech is that of beauty, of collective gathering of forces, all races come together under one umbrella. These forces will unite under his unseen race.

He lies. His race and his ability to cross all boundaries of race, all genders, portend the lie of Obama.

Obama does not unite. Obama hyperbolizes only to hide the real man within. The real man does not cooperate or participate in bi-partisanship. The real man hides behind words of magnificence, words of conciliation, words that make the sheep of this country turn into little lambs to bring to the slaughter of the next four years if elected.

The county is divided. The country thinks and believes that we are a nation no longer divided by race, but by rich and poor, no matter what race you may be. This is the message of the abominable Obama.

It is as manipulative if nor more manipulative than that of Hillary and Bill Clinton. The Clinton Machine has not been able to stop the racing, surging force of this unknown man.

The Mainstream Media, riding high on the most leftist Senator in the Senate will not speak a word out about this man. They do not ask any substantive questions of him. The do not ask of his record. They do not care. As long as the candidate, perhaps the truly Manchurian Candidate of our time becomes President of the United States and finally brings it down to its knees.

Why do so many people accept this? Why is there so many that sway and swoon over someone they know less about than a rock star? Because they are people who have no idea who they are, they have no identities themselves, they need to be led. It matters not where as long as they are led by this prescient man to whom they have placed their entire lives.

This is not freedom. This is not the United States. This is fascism. There are those who love this. There are those in this society who want control over everything someone else does as long as it does not pertain to them. There are those who would like to see all of us trapped into rules and regulations that have nothing to do with the freedoms of those written so long along.

These are fascists at heart. They are your neighbors who butt into how many times you mow your grass. These are the people who sue those whose smoke wafts across the lawn on a summer evening up into the clouds, not touching them, but “they” the fascists must control how you live. There are other groups who are segregated such as smokers. Now we have overweight people who cannot be served at restaurants because they are too fat.

How far will this go? It will go far and faster than we could ever have imagined. The control freaks and the sick mentalities among us who cannot and will not allow us to live our lives as the Constitution set forth except for those few exceptional groups, like Muslims and homosexuals. They are not to be touched. We have to be having them forced upon us because that is what the fascists tell us we have to do.

Only after he is elected will the truth come out. No one will question him prior to that. It is to be held sacred that he can do no wrong, not right now. Who will bring it out? Only one man can do that, McCain during the general debates. And is that possible? I don’t think so. Nothing can touch Obama, the sacred cow.

The child hears nothing for her ears are closed, not through deafness, but through an imposed silence that she cannot break. If she were to shatter that silence, for just one moment, she will die. She moves restlessly about, wanders aimlessly, her mind can not concentrate for she must keep her mind full of thoughts to keep out the ones she does not remember until her brain soaks it all up and hides it in a corner not to be reached for years to come.

Another child cannot sleep. She guards herself with stuffed animals that will protect her from the monster that enters her room. But, no matter how many stuffed animals that encircle her, the monster breaks through the child’s resourceful, but naive moat she has built for herself.

A successful business woman of thirty-five goes to work every day and thinks, perceives, resolves, and accomplishes, but when she leaves work that day she loathes herself. In her mind there is nothing more despicable than she. She is a fake. She has fooled everyone into thinking she is “normal”, “clean”.

Another woman who is thirty eight cannot sleep for sleep will bring the night mares. She paces in the middle of the night, her mind racing. The nightmares intervene within her subconscious, capturing her with their penance and requitals for the monster she is and was.

A woman of fifty lives alone. She hears voices telling her “they” the mafia, the police, the interns, are coming for her. She is already dead.  Her body long ago embraced death of inner being.  She feels nothing; she knows not when she is hungry, tired, angry, or sad.

Another woman cannot bear to look at children. They remind her of her diseased and filthy self when she was a child. These children, if she looks closely, do not remind her of her, for they are small, some not even 3 feet tall. They are innocent. But, she knows she is and was not. She knows it was her fault. She was never that small, that innocent. She knows gazing at these children, that she was never a child.

Who are these children and women? They are the survivors of sexual abuse.

Liberals tell us the perpetrators need rehabilitation. We are told that after a few months for some, a few years for others, that these sexual predators are ready for living in the outside world. They have “served” their time, their punishment.

What you never hear are what the “survivors” are living. You never hear the stories of the agony, the terrors, the trials, the coping mechanisms, and the trauma that goes on for a life time for the survivors.

The few vignettes of the women I wrote about in the beginning of this article are true stories, the thoughts and the pain of actual survivors. You probably think you do not know any women like this, but you do. They are your neighbors, friends, co-workers.

You will not know they were sexually abused as children because they guard that secret, living their lives secretly in therapy for years, working strenuously and courageously, taking them back through all the pain they put away in a recess of their brain.

They do not want to be known. They work their struggles out in a hushed whisper. Even though they were the victims of a crime, they pay for their own therapy for years. So, they pay again for the crime of another.  They ask for nothing except to be released from their flashbacks, their nightmares, their loss of self esteem, the blame the abuser cast upon them.  They work through their psychosis, their fugue states, and their schizoid mental diseases. These are the lucky ones. Many of them were not survivors. Some died by the hands of their molester, some by drug addiction, some by suicide.

The criminal serves a few months or a few years. These women serve their sentences their entire lives, since they were children. There is never s cessation to their suffering. There is only what is called a “coming to terms” with the crime committed upon them. You do not know it. They will not tell you. They do not want your pity.

They do want the fight to continue to properly put these criminals where they belong, if not in hell, in prison for the rest of their lives.

Our liberal, progressive, or secular society, whichever word one wants to use, is promoting this decay in our society. Our children are being sexualized at an earlier age than ever. Internet sites sport child pornography sites where these evil perpetrators can assuage their guilt and tell themselves they are “normal”. The ACLU, one of the worst liberal offenders in this country has defended NAMBLA, the organization that supports men and boy “love’.

We have judges who allow these perpetrators to roam freely while they are allegedly “rehabilitating” themselves. These poor individuals as defined by the liberal agenda have their “own” problems, their own abuse issues. We must not punish them for having bad childhoods.

I cannot imagine anything more abhorrent than sexual crimes committed upon our children. But with the liberal, secular agenda, there is no right or wrong, there are no Ten Commandments, there are no laws which are broken that are so bad we must imprison and keep these monsters locked away forever. These crimes committed against are children are the most heinous one can imagine, but we are forever being told we are not to judge.

The decay within our country has become so prolific that even are children are no longer considered sacrosanct.

The false prophet, Obama, renders his melodic and narcotic inducing tones to those who are impacted, those who weep, and feel emotions that they have not been able to feel for a very long time. Who can tell what emotions are being brought up inside the depths of the souls who are beguiled by the ubiquitous Barack Obama?

Dreams are just dreams.  But to those that hunger for inner peace, dreams will not calm the demons that reside within the hollowness of those whose hearts are beating for something to alleviate their pain. Their hearts beat not for reality, but for something that cannot be attained. These lost souls have lost their path to something bigger than themselves. Their nihilism may just be alleviated by this man who speaks of unity, peace, and ending the divide that grips us all.

Upon the scene of our divided nation, Barack Obama has soared to heights that no one I can recall would have foreseen. He, with his deliberate and practiced cadence, has suspended half a nation into a time warp from which they want no rescue. He offers to them deliverance and redemption.

His presence alone amasses thousands, who have been wandering in the hinterlands for years, to stand in wait until the prophet appears. Every word he utters is divinely absorbed into the souls of the lost.

These lost souls need to be comforted, uplifted, and given assurance that they will be saved. These lost souls need to be relinquished from the banality of their ordinary lives and suspended in a world where the ruins of their mirages have never seen fruition.

The false Messiah has come and he delivers his sermons and homilies.

And, there is every possibility he will be the next President of the United States.
